Glass Welding Splatter Removal Onsite Service
The welding slag or the spark produced by a grinder is easy to damage glass surface.
The case today is a welding damage caused during construction.
This is a very serious welding damage.
In order to control distortion after repair, we decide to use 5 inch sanding pads to repair the glass.
The first step is to use pink ultra coarse sanding pad which is designed for welding damage removal.
Because the pink sanding pad is ultra coarse, it can remove the welding splatter from glass quickly.
The method of glass scratch repair is to grind a layer of the glass surface evenly to remove the scratches and then polish it to renew the glass.
The more serious the glass scratches or welding damage, the larger the grinding area.
By doing this, we can effectively control the distortion after repair.
Now the welding splatter has been removed. We change to use blue coarse sanding pad to continue sanding.
Coarse sanding aims to make the sanding area smoother and it will be better for fine sanding after.
Now we use green fine sanding pad. The fine sanding can make the glass surface finest and smoothest which is good for polishing directly.
Now we use red polishing pad.
Spray water and then polish.
After polishing, we should check it carefully to guarantee the repair performance.
Now the repair is done. The glass is renewed as original.
